Migrating Applications to SaaS in AWS: A Minimally Invasive Approach
We’re delighted to host our next Breakfast Briefing in the Westin Hotel on Friday October 5th.
SaaS Solutions is not a one size fits all approach. The unique needs of customers, markets, and businesses will dictate the flavour of SaaS that best fits a customer’s environment.
With a mix of customer success stories, Cloud experts and AWS Solution Architects, the aim of this Breakfast Briefing is to help you navigate the migration process; rethink your design, adopt a more agile approach to delivering solutions in a subscription model, and to have a closer look at the different migration models.
We have limited spaces available, so if you are interested, please register here.

9.55 – 10.30am – The practical guide to migrating your application to the cloud
Nigel Creighton, CTO at DNM
The challenge, is for organisations to find creative ways to incrementally move their solutions to a SaaS model without major disruptions. While the benefits of SaaS may be inviting, it’s important to make the move to SaaS with care and forethought. Ultimately, you want to emerge from this transformation with a product that inherits the best traits of SaaS and becomes an enabler for the business. A simple lift and shift or some flavour of pseudo-SaaS is likely to undermine your long-term goals. Here, we look at different methodologies.
We hope to have an open discussion around the following topics:
- How multi-tenant are you?
- Building a Foundation
- Silo Migration Model
- Layered Migration Model
- Data Migration Model
10.30am Q&A Session
We hope to see you all there for an information packed morning – register now!
